Careers
MVGIE is a small studio working at a deliberate pace. We hire rarely, but when we do we hire generously — for talent, for fit, and for the long haul.
We are a remote-first studio building story-driven games for people who want games that mean something. We move slowly when slowness is the right answer, and quickly when something is on fire. We share the craft out loud — write field notes, post devlogs, and talk publicly about what we are learning.
Hours are humane. Salaries are at or above market for the role and seniority. We do not crunch. We trust people to do the work that needs doing without anyone watching the clock.
If that sounds like the kind of place you want to be — keep reading.
There are no open positions at MVGIE right now. New roles will be listed here as they become available, alongside notes on what we are looking for and the process.
If you would like to be the first to know when something opens, follow us on social or send a speculative introduction. We read everything.
Same shape for every role — short note, conversation, paid trial, decision within a week.

If the timing and shape look right, we set up a call. We try to be specific about what the role would look like, and honest about what it would not.
Paid. Short. As close to the actual job as we can make it, so both sides get a real signal rather than a guessing game.
We write back within a week, either way. If it is a no, we tell you what we noticed and why — feedback is the least we can do for the time you have given us.
